Innie And Outie People

The use of the phrases innie and outie comes from the shape of the belly button, where umbilicoplasty is often performed to convert an outie into a more socially acceptable shape of an innie. This phenomenon of being born with an innie or outie represents how I characterize people.

Outside In

Imagine your body as the fractal of thinking we are all accustomed to. The innie represents the person who fits in, behaves according to the norm, adheres to societal standards with goals designed to please other innies. Innies are careful not to rock the boat of life too much for fear of societal retribution. They look from the inside out and dream about what else is possible.

The outie represents a person who thinks differently, seeks new and higher normalizations of truth, asks the why question, and attempts to improve society with a more natural, non-uniform, and realistic perspective on life. Outies are often frowned upon, as they tickle and challenge the proximal development of innies. They look from the outside in and make it possible.

Be Different

As I explain in the evolution of evolution, society needs both kinds of people and neither should be frowned upon. But because outies are responsible for improving the evolutionary excellence of humanity from the arduous discovery of a new normalization of nature’s truth, outies should not be “surgically” forced to become innies.

We need more outies in a world where the theory, systems, and ideologies of humanity have so poignantly failed us. We need to establish new rigors of excellence we, in the United States, first and successfully apply to ourselves. A society that only cherishes innies is non-renewable and the source of an anthropogenic cascade.

So cherish your outie, and be proud to think different.

Let’s lead the world by example with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
