How Is Democracy Working For You?

When President Joe Biden proclaims to want to protect democracy at all cost, I have to ask the pertinent question; how is democracy working for you?

Balance

Not too well, I rush to answer. Our democracy is an outright mess. Joe Biden could learn a thing from the former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, who created a vibrant and renewable society from his unique approach to democracy. A form of democracy designed to strike a much better balance between collective interests and individualism.

We can and must do better.

A Mess

In the United States, we have a constitution-constrained pay-to-play government gravely behind the eighth ball of human development and evolutionary compatibility. Our freedoms, unconstrained by much-needed paradoxical rules, induce a wild-west of laissez-faire debacles, coming back to haunt us at every turn.

True. Freedom can be messy. But freedom without paradoxical rules manufactures asymmetries of freedom perpetuating Bronze Age vile maxims hurting not improving the outlook for humanity.

Brutal vile maxims, like so many we implicitly allow to fester, have made Homo Sapiens almost go extinct before and made prior empires lose steam. Humanity must comply with our best understanding of nature’s first-principles to improve its evolutionary quality and lifespan.

Big Mistakes

We have not deployed a compatible evolutionary theory for humanity. And without a human theory derived from nature’s first principles, we cannot build systems to promote the predictable outcomes of the theory. Our drive for entrepreneurialism becomes a rat-race of self-serving riches rather than improves human adaptability to nature’s entropy. Our so-called advancements become a net-negative to society.

Our “systems” are not systems. They lack the best proxy of an embedded evolutionary theory that improves human existence and fail to identify the merit of input to produce the desired output. The vast majority of our so-called systems are severely broken, as admitted by the people overseeing their effectiveness. Terms such as democracy, capitalism, socialism are not systems but have become symptoms of manufactured confusion and greater-fool compliance.

Up And Up

The excuse I hear uttered repeatedly is to proclaim democracy is the best we have. It is not.

Believing democracy is the best method we have is like believing the Space Shuttle is the only way to reach space. The reinvention of a better future for humanity will not come from the government that manages the current implementation of human efficacy.

One hundred years ago Albert Einstein discovered the universe revolves around relativity. To date, none of our systems adhere to the principles of relativity and are instead held hostage by two-hundred-year-old downstream convulsions of constitutional scripture completely ignoring the existence of a new dimension of human evolution discovered since.

New Truth

We must define the evolutionary theory of humanity (as I have) that produces the systems by which humanity’s efforts are geared towards the excellence of our evolution. We must reinvent ourselves upstream, not waddle in the evolution of outdated and foregone conclusions downstream. We can implement immediate change thanks to the gaping holes of our constitution.

The cause of our deadbeat democracy, which no one truly believes in anymore, is its lack of evolutionary relevance—a problem I anticipated and set out to fix ten years ago.

Not the love for democracy should prevail but the love for humanity. Cause over consequence.

Let’s lead the world by example with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
