The Curse of False Positivity

There is nothing I despise more than people who call themselves positive people. I find them often to be the most ignorant and repugnant. They just declared themselves braindead to me.

Discriminatory

These are people without judgment and opinions worth a dime. Add to that new safe spaces and trigger words, and you’ve got yourself a soup of societal mediocrity and ever-growing complacency.

You see, not everything in life requires your positive reaction. Quite the opposite, as the manmade constructs holding humanity hostage, are far from perfect. No, worse, they are in blatant violation of nature’s first principles dictating the excellence and longevity of the human species.

Broken

And when the theory of humanity is broken, per Einstein’s wisdom, the systems determining what humanity can discover are broken. I am sorry to say those who soldier on in ignorance of the systems determining their fate are outright idiots.

In fact, the practice of Kwetschen (Jewish for the commiseration of downside) forms a stronger bond between people. They validate or invalidate each other and produce a better response to the much-needed improvement of those systems.

Realism

Humanity is on a manmade collision course with nature, unchanged and unfettered making us the shortest living species on Earth. My response to that fate is unaccepting. If I had assessed that situation with positivity, I would have done nothing.

Instead, with a strong dose of realism, multi-year investments, combatting naysayers, and incredible sacrifices along the way, I built a new method for humanity to best adapt to nature’s entropy.

Myth Buster

I leave you with a fantastic narration from political activist Barbara Ehrenreich, whom I first embedded in a blog article eleven years ago to rid you of false positivity.

Political Activist Barbara Ehrenreich on positivity

Be somebody. Face reality. Fight for something. And you’ll be amazed how much more you will learn from people engaging in discriminatory realism—way more than from people who succumb to the wrath of mindless positivity.
