As I alluded to in an earlier post, the world population will soon be in decline, with the most populous countries having below 1.9 kids on average per family. The effect of that will not immediately surface, yet one generation further will reduce the impact on the natural resources required for humanity to survive.
The primary issue facing humanity is not related to our quantity, but to our quality of life. The concern I pose all too often is the need for humanity to improve its strength, not its length of life. The real challenge for humanity will be to improve wellness to optimally adapt to nature’s entropy without the ball-and-chain of chronic dependency on healthcare and its out-of-control costs preserving the evolutionary walking-dead.
