What Is The Difference In Calculation For A Stock Market Cap And A Cryptocurrency Market Cap?

Well, a cryptocurrency is a belief system like a religion, not becoming truer just because you managed to find more believers.

A stock market cap is based on the performance of an asset, a company with products producing socio-economic value. A cryptocurrency is an asset-less belief system, increasing only in value based on a supply of greater-fools, with no socio-economic value as collateral.

Be careful. Zero collateral times 10,000 remains zero. Proceed at your own risk.
