Having poor economic freedoms is the consequence of not having freed freedom from its oligarchic definition and procurement. That happens to be the same reason why capitalism in its current form is undesirable and underperforming as well, for capitalism not subjugated to real freedom turns subprime.
Economic freedoms and capitalism are not mutually exclusive and instead harmed by the same malfeasance of freedom at its root cause.
