You can’t compare the GDP of different countries for their composition is different. Yet, there is more.
Comparing the GDP of the two countries would be the same as comparing the outcome of two games of soccer. Prevailing economic religion and practitioners would surmise two soccer games with the same score would have come from the same gameplay, and obviously, they are wrong. Cause and consequence confounded.
The fundamentals of our economic religion are flawed and must be reinvented.
